With the state of emergency and the situation of confinement of the population, last March, Bodegues Sumarroca, within the “Sumarroca amb cor” project, announced that it would make a donation of € 1 for each bottle of cava or wine sold in the online store.

The collection, which has reached a total of € 1,190, will go to the program “A tu lado” of the NGO Save the Children. This project has been created specifically to care for the most vulnerable children in some 6,500 families and give them access to basic nutrition, psychological care and the opportunity to continue their education.

The NGO Save the Children has prepared season tickets for basic food, psychological support and support services for parents that include guidelines for parenting and positive education. Also programs of educational intervention through a distance school fabric and the provision of technological tools such as internet connection or distribution of devices to continue learning.
