Estate Vineyards

The best vineyards for our cava:

Rosendo Vineyard

1.9-hectare Pinot Noir vineyard protected by Bosque de l’Àliga (Eagle Forest) to the east and the Sierra de la Vermella to the west and north. This privileged location ensures that the vineyard is out of direct sunlight in the early hours of the morning and in the late evening, meaning that the vines mature more slowly. It is also protected from the direct influence of the sea breeze and “terral” wind. The loam soil is extremely chalky and shallow.

Cols Vineyard

3.7-hectare Chardonnay vineyard that it fully exposed to the dry inland winds. It also benefits from the Mediterranean sea breeze, although the coastal mountain range ensures that it is not as moist by the time it arrives. The loam soil is chalky, shallow and muddy, well drained, with sedimentary gravel.

Peretes Vineyard

3.3-hectare Xarel•lo vineyard strongly influenced by the Bosque de l’Àliga (Eagle Forest) and its ravine, which creates a stream of air cooled by the forest. The fact that the vineyard is east-facing, together with the effect of the forest, means that the vines are protected from the afternoon sun and do not overheat.

The soil is chalky and conceals a high percentage of gravel and fossils beneath the surface, which give the vines their own unique personality.

Molí Coloma Vineyard

Vineyard with a very chalky, pebbly and clay-like soil. It is located at the foot of the coastal mountain range, which protects the vines from the moist sea breeze. The vineyard is exposed to the dryer inland winds.
