SOM GASTRONOMIA 2025
World Gastronomy Region is an initiative of the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT) that recognizes outstanding regions for their gastronomic offer and commitment to food culture. This distinction is awarded to regions with a rich culinary tradition that promote gastronomy as a key to economic development, sustainability and social cohesion. Bodegues Sumarroca and Finca VAIG moldre Coloma have joined this initiative with total conviction of their values and objectives as a global gastronomic destination:
- Celebrate Gastronomic Diversity: Catalonia is a mosaic of cultures, traditions and flavours. We want to show this wealth through festivals and culinary events.
- Promote Sustainability: We practice environmental sustainability, promoting local products and reducing food waste.
- Fostering Innovation: We combine tradition and innovation in cooking, using advanced technologies.
- Rating Local Producers: We support farmers, farmers and fishermen, recognising their essential role in our gastronomic offer.
- To strengthen the Community: We use gastronomy to connect people, creating spaces for meeting and dialogue.
