Bodegues Sumarroca, an ecological winery located in Penedès, has received a gold medal for the 2018 Brut Ecological Reserve in one of the most influential international competitions of Germany, winter edition, Berliner Wine Trophy 2021. From the samples presented, only 30 % of wines or sparkling wines can get a medal.

The winery has also won recognition with the Gran Reserva Brut Nature 2017, which has won a silver medal.

Each year, the Berliner Wine Trophy brings together numerous experts from around the world who have formed an independent panel of experts made up of winemakers, sommeliers, masters of wine, winemakers, journalists and distributors. In this edition, 7,000 samples were presented by 2,000 participants from about 41 countries around the world.

After receiving the BEST CAVA award at the Mundus Vini last March and obtaining these awards, Sumarroca demonstrates its commitment to the production of quality products.

RESERVA BRUT ORGANIC TASTING NOTES

Pale yellow color. Very fresh aroma, a mixture of fruit from the base wine with the first notes of pastry due to the two-year aging of the cava. In the mouth it is fruity and fresh, with a fine and pleasant bubble that integrates perfectly with the structure of the cava.
