The prestigious independent wine guide Gilbert & Gaillard, based in France and with great international projection, has awarded a double gold to the Sumarroca Gran Reserva Brut Nature (DO CAVA). This award is the highest recognition given by the publication.
The Gilbert & Gaillard project began in 1989 when Philippe Gaillard and François Gilbert ran a French wine magazine. In 1991 they decided to publish their own publication dedicated to the world of wine, which has a presence in more than 25 countries and a more digitized intention. Today, his wine guide is a world reference. The tastings are blind and several sessions are organized throughout the year which are led by the founders with the participation of a team of professional tasters from France and other countries.
This recognition is the result of the work that the entire Sumarroca team dedicates to making great wines on three pillars: respect for the environment and sustainability, tradition and local varieties.
